Our world-class faculty bring into the classroom their wide-ranging real-world experience. They are known for producing impactful research across a wide range of academic disciplines making IUB the top private university and 4th best university among all universities in Bangladesh. At the Department of Environmental Science (DES), classes will be small so students receive one-on-one attention and opportunities to pursue research alongside faculty. Because of the devotion to and relentless effort in establishing it as a research-based institution by faculty members, the DES has become the center of excellence in environmental education and research, producing a substantial number of promising environmental graduates, who are contributing their knowledge to the development of various environmental sectors.
