‘Dewdrops’ unveiled at IUB

The Chief Guest Mr. Matiur Rahman spoke on various aspects of the current environmental crisis, endangered species, water management issues and climate change. He opined that even though continued persistence of dire reports in environmental issues and their expression in journalism may become tiring at times, it remains the role of journalism and news organizations in creating and sustaining environmental awareness for our sustainable future and survival. Mr. Rahman offered joint programs to be conducted by IUB and Prothom Alo nationwide.
Among others, Pro-Vice Chancellor of IUB, Deans and Heads of the Schools and Departments, members of the faculty and administration and a large number of students were present to celebrate this grand occasion.
